HOW WE HELP

Every appointment matters.
So does getting there.

Trips to covered Health First Colorado services for eligible members who do not have transportation. Every ride requires MediDrive approval and a vehicle appropriate to the passenger’s needs.

♡03

Follow-ups & hospital discharges

Transportation to covered pre-surgery, post-surgery, and follow-up visits. Hospital discharge rides must be initiated by hospital staff through MediDrive; members cannot book their own discharge rides.

Behavioral health & rehabilitation

Transportation to covered mental health and substance use disorder visits, physical therapy, and rehabilitation, subject to MediDrive approval.

Coverage is confirmed for each trip. These are eligible trip purposes, not a guarantee of coverage or assignment to Secure-Ride Colorado. MediDrive confirms member eligibility, covered care, trip authorization, and the appropriate transportation provider. General errands, shopping, work, and social outings are not advertised here as Medicaid NEMT services. Private-pay rides are separate from the Medicaid benefit. For medical emergencies, call 911.

Wheelchair-accessible rides: coming soon. We currently do not offer wheelchair-accessible vehicle rides. If you need a wheelchair-accessible vehicle or another level of support, tell MediDrive when booking so they can arrange an appropriate provider. Trips are subject to availability and, for Medicaid rides, broker authorization.

Book through MediDrive

Health First Colorado members can request and manage eligible medical trips through the broker’s member portal.
